Samsung ulaže četiri milijarde dolara u američku tvornicu

Južnokorejski elektronički div Samsung Electronics objavio je u utorak da će uložiti oko četiri milijarde dolara u svoju američku tvornicu kako bi povećao proizvodnju sistemskih čipova koji se koriste u pametnim telefonima, tablet računalima i drugim elektroničkim proizvodima.

Investicija je namijenjena tvornici Samsung Austin Semiconductor u Teksasu, jedinoj tvornici poluvodiča te kompanije izvan Koreje.

U Orahovici je ovog tjedna počela gradnja najveće solarne elektrane na zemlji u Hrvatskoj, snage 500 kilovat-pika, koja s probnim radom kreće već u rujnu. No, da bi se došlo do gradnje bio je težak put.

Solarna elektrana projekt je splitske tvrtke SunStroomEnergija i Grada Orahovice, a projekt tehnološki podupire SunStroom Energy Group iz Španjolske. 

Njemački div Siemens planira otpustiti tisuću radnika

Njemački industrijski konglomerat Siemens vodi preliminarne razgovore o ukidanju tisuća radnih mjesta zbog sve slabijeg gospodarstva, posebice u Europi, izvijestio je u utorak jedan njemački list.

Interni razgovori o otkazima u početnoj su fazi a odluke bi mogle biti donesene u listopadu ili studenom, prenosi dnevnik Boersen-Zeitung, ne navodeći izvor informacije.

Plaće nogometaša u rangu bankara i direktora

Od kada je 1992.godine uvedena Premier liga u Engleskoj do danas, plaće nogometaša su u tom razdoblju u elitnom nogometu porasle za čak 1.508 posto. Za usporedbu, plaće tzv. običnih radnika su u istom razdoblju u Velikoj Britaniji porasle za 186 posto, pokazuje istraživanje Centra za visoke plaće u Velikoj Britaniji.

Odnosno, plaće nogometaša su rasle gotovo 10 puta brže od plaća običnih radnika.
